Balingsholm was originally built as a residence for Royalty but in the middle of the 1980s was converted to a modern Conference Hotel. The original buildings have been renovated and improved to make them as comfortable and effective as possible for today's conferences. Balingsholm is unique within the Stockholm area, as the surrounding environment has remained natural and untouched.

The shores of Lake Trehörning create a sense of solitude, despite the proximity to the metropolitan center, only a stone's throw away, with all its pros and cons.

One of the advantages of the city is communications. It is easy and fast to get to Balingsholm, both by car and local transit. Commuter trains at Huddinge Center and trains to Stockholm South can be taken from Huddinge, close to Balingsholm.

Obviously the best way to experience our unique environment, so close to the city, is to visit us, but to give you a taste of what we have to offer, we welcome you to a 'surfing tour' of Balingsholm Conference Hotel. It's a shame that it is not yet possible to transmit scents across the internet—because there are so many from both nature and the mansion's kitchen.
